The Real Estate Company of Vermont is a locally owned, full-service real estate firm located in Bristol, Vermont. We offer traditional marketing services and transaction coordination for property owners looking to sell including:
Pre-listing Consultation
In order to help ensure that our marketing efforts will be maximized, one of our Brokers will visit your home or property prior to completing a Broker's Price Opinion.
Broker's Price Opinion
We will take a comprehensive look at the homes most similar to yours that have recently sold in your marketplace to help you to understand the market conditions and aid in pricing you home.
Property Photo Shoot
The single most effective real estate marketing tool is the use of high-quality and strategic photographs. We will take great care in composing well lit, high-quality, wide angle images of your home to help buyers feel like they know your house before they even schedule a showing.
Online Marketing
With most buyers finding their new home online, we ensure that your home will have a strong online presence and that potential buyers can easily find our agency contact information to ask questions and schedule showings.
Offer Presentation & Negotiation Assistance
Once a potential buyer decides to make an offer, one of our Brokers will meet with you to go over the offer, discuss its terms, and assist you in negotiating a contract that is mutually acceptable to you and your prospective buyer.
Transaction Coordination
Once mutually agreeable terms have been reached, you and the buyer will sign the Purchase and Sale Contract and will begin to proceed with the terms of the contract. Our agency will help you to monitor and coordinate important contract deadlines through the closing.
Our Conflict of Interest Policy
The Real Estate Company of Vermont also works with home buyers both as unrepresented customers and as clients of our agency to help them find and purchase real estate. We cannot represent both a seller and buyer in the same transaction and thus rarely will be the firm who procures a buyer for your property. In the case that we do to procure a buyer, we are required to provide them the option of obtaining agency representation for the purchase. This choice neither costs you or them more money as our fees include a commission paid to the selling agency whether that agency is our firm or another firm.
